Sadly not for me, sharp hairspray note that simply doesn't work. It sounds lovely from description online & I absolutely love Vanilla scents

I’ve been a fan of Lush perfumes but these are even better, very unique, tried the discovery set and loved Mad, will be my go to perfume from now on!

I just found out that Simon left lush to start his own brand and I was so excited but sad I was so late to the party. I didn't realise that all my favourite perfumes were made by him! This has such a retro sophisticated deep sensual rich smell. Nothing like it which is why I love his perfumes. They're just so unique, I tried it in the sample box, I will be purchasing a 50ml, what a wonderful fragrance, literally indescribable!

I sent for a sample box last year when there were 6 scents... no there are ten, I've just finished the box and I can't wait to try the other 4. I love them because they don't smell like any other perfume and they're all delicious and last well through the day

Gourmand Citrus perfumes are super popular at the moment but they're all full of modern aroma chemicals OR crazy expensive. Far smells like my mums no-bake lime cheesecake (without too much biscuit, which is a note that always smells stale to me!). I'm addicted. The longevity and projection aren't amazing but citrus scents rarely are.

I fell in love with the sample when I bought the discovery set so I had to get myself a 10ml edp. I'm gearing up to buy the 50ml edt so I can compare!

I have just tested a sample of the edp and here are my thoughts:-

“I have a sample of Cake edp and at first it is very spicy but as it warms up on the skin, it softens and sweetens and I am getting the cocoa and cacao coming through. It now begins to smell more like chocolate cake but in a spicy and more abstract way and is not at all synthetic. The longer it sits upon my skin (which is dry/alkaline), the more I like it and I keep going back to my arm to sniff it! It is very spicy though so I have purchased the edt which may be softer and hopefully project more. Definitely unisex and reminds me of something from my childhood. Looking forward to wearing this at Christmas time 🥰.
